Haley Bradburn becomes first baby born in Reno-Sparks
RENO, Nev. – Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 – Saint Mary's Regional
Medical Center is proud to announce the arrival of the first baby born
in 2015. Haley Bradburn was born today at 2:21 a.m. The healthy little
bundle of joy weighs 9 lbs and measures 21 ½ inches. Parents, Deanna
and Glen Bradburn, are very excited to welcome their second child.
"New Year's is always such an exciting time for us in the delivery
room, and it is our pleasure to welcome another healthy baby into the
world," said Bre Taylor RN, BSN director of Saint Mary's Pediatrics
and NICU. "We'd like to congratulate Deanna and Glen, as this
is a very special time for them and their family."
Saint Mary's has delivered babies in northern Nevada for over 105 years
and continues to offer a family-centered care philosophy during the labor
and delivery experience. The Family Birthing Center is also home to the
T.J. and Debbie Day Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, specialized in caring
for newborns as well as a Pediatric Unit for children aged zero to 18
that are admitted to the hospital.
