Dr. Verma received his medical degree from the
Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands, Antilles,
where he also served as class vice-president. He was extremely
active and helped establish and organize the Saba Football League,
later becoming vice-president of the Saba Football League. Upon
graduation, Dr. Verma moved to the University of Nevada School
of Medicine to complete his residency in family medicine, where
he became chief resident and received Teacher of the Year.
